Millor is seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a student looking to gain hands-on experience in social media management and digital marketing within the high-end residential remodeling industry. As an intern, you will have full control and responsibility over our social media efforts, effectively serving as the head of marketing for the company. You will create engaging social media content, develop and implement digital marketing strategies, manage marketing campaigns, and communicate effectively with our target audience. While there is no salary or hourly rate for the internship, you have the opportunity to earn uncapped commissions from sales generated through your social media efforts, along with the possibility for a full-time role based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Develop and curate engaging content for Millor’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
- Campaign Management: Manage and monitor social media campaigns, including scheduling posts, tracking performance, and optimizing for better results.
- Analytics: Analyze social media metrics and provide detailed reports to optimize future campaigns and strategies.
- Engagement: Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a strong community engagement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the design and sales teams to align social media content with company goals and ensure cohesive branding.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on the latest social media trends and best practices to keep Millor’s presence current and effective.
- Leadership: Take full ownership of Millor’s social media channels, making strategic decisions to enhance our online presence and drive business growth.
Qualifications
- Education: Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Content Creation.
- Experience in Digital Marketing and general Marketing principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop engaging and creative content.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and strategies.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Preferred:
- Interest in the home improvement, construction, interior design, or real estate industries.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
