Marketing and Social Media Assistant

Creative photography studio looking for the right candidate to fill a part-time (20-25 hrs per week to start) position. Looking for a reliable, self-motivated, and self-disciplined individual who can work in an independent environment. A person who is mindful, creative, detail-oriented, social media savvy, and self-directed will be most successful in this role. Hourly rate will be based on experience level. This is a strictly non-photography position and NOT suitable for photographers. This position is suitable for a mom getting back into the workforce. This position is strictly in person in our Sacramento location to start with.

Your primary responsibilities would include:

- Assist in executing marketing campaigns
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
- Collaborate with the team to create engaging content for various platforms
- Assist with copywriting and proofreading marketing materials and social media content
- Support the management of newsletters and online advertising campaigns
- Assist in the implementation of performance marketing strategies and social media advertisements
- Help manage social media accounts and engage with followers
- Support email marketing efforts, including creating and sending newsletters

Education, Experience and Skills:
* Understands and supports women and self-love and body love movements.
* Comfortable in an all-women environment
* Outgoing, empathetic and friendly personality
* Phone skills
* Customer service/client management/communication experience
* Attention to detail and organization
* Proficient on Google Suite and PC
* Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
* A strong desire to help other people
* A plus if you are interested in empowering women and love making women feel good
* Familiar with social media platforms and online sales strategies
* Understanding of advertising principles and practices
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong organizational and time management skills

Duties can grow.
Experience with Instagram, Blogging and Facebook is preferred. Experience in customer service, calls, research and writing, and related skills useful to a creative photography studio are a plus. Experience in Manychat is a huge plus.

This position can grow into a full-time position for the right person.
