What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caring Family Environment Coordinators position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to become flex houseparents, providing a consistent family-like structure for students in need. As a flex houseparent, you and your spouse will reside in on-campus student homes, guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students.
As a houseparent, your responsibilities will include driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and other essential tasks. You will also have the opportunity to lead daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
The ideal candidate will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. Valid driver's licenses and the ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required.
The benefits package includes a salary of $43,825 per person (a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple), comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off.
