What are the responsibilities and job description for the Couples Family Care Specialists position at Milton Hershey School?
Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to become Flex Houseparents. As a Flex Houseparent, you will provide a nurturing family-like environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. You will oversee the care of 8-12 children, guiding and supporting them in their daily lives.

Salary and Benefits
You will receive a competitive salary of $43,825 per person, with a total compensation package of approximately $150,000 per couple. This includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more.

Relocation assistance and paid training are also provided.
Your schedule will include nine days on followed by three days off, with a period of personal time while students are at school. You will also have three-week paid summer vacation.
Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Limitations on pets
- Valid driver's license
- Couples must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrate a high degree of integrity
