Job Description
Your responsibilities as a Youth Development Specialist will include managing a household for 8-12 students, supporting their education, and ensuring their well-being. This involves daily devotions, leading students in chapel services, and taking care of their physical and emotional needs. You will also be responsible for driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, and other tasks that come with caring for a family.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you and your spouse must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. You should be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. Both spouses must be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. You must also be able to lift up to 50 lbs and demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
