Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to join our team as Houseparents. As a Houseparent, you will provide a nurturing environment for students in need, ensuring their care and guidance in on-campus homes.
Job Description
As a Houseparent at Milton Hershey School, you will be responsible for creating a family-like atmosphere for your assigned group of 8-12 students. This includes daily responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. You will also have the opportunity to lead students in daily devotions and take them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
The ideal candidate has experience working with youth, preferably from under-served settings, and is committed to fostering a nurturing atmosphere. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including a salary of $43,825 per person, free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more. We also provide relocation assistance and paid training.
