Job Description
As flex houseparents, couples will reside in on-campus student homes and provide a family-like environment for a group of approximately 8-12 students. They will be responsible for guiding and nurturing the students, overseeing daily activities, administering care, and ensuring a supportive educational experience. This role requires a high degree of integrity and the ability to lead students in daily devotions and take them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for couples who have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and they should have been legally married for at least two years. Couples must be comfortable living in a smoke-free and weapon-free campus and have valid driver's licenses. They should also be able to lift up to 50 lbs and demonstrate a high degree of integrity.
Working Conditions
Couples will work a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off. Their workdays will include a period of personal time while students are at school, and they will have three weeks of paid summer vacation. The campus is located in Hershey, PA, and couples will be provided with free housing and meals while on duty.
