At Milton Hershey School, we are seeking married couples to fill the roles of Houseparents. In this unique position, you will provide a nurturing environment for underprivileged students in on-campus homes.
As a Houseparent, you will guide and mentor approximately 8-12 students, creating a family-like atmosphere and assisting with daily activities. This role requires a high degree of integrity and a commitment to providing a supportive environment for students.
We are looking for couples who have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses must be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
The benefits of being a Houseparent at Milton Hershey School include a salary of $43,825 per person (total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple), comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training. Additionally, you will enjoy a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, with workdays including personal time while students are at school.
