Job Description
As a Houseparent, you will reside in an on-campus student home with your spouse and provide a nurturing family-like environment for 8-12 students. You will work together to support students' educational and personal needs while managing household responsibilities. This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a strong commitment to our students' well-being.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful as a Houseparent, you must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Couples should be legally married for at least two years, both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home. You must also abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, have valid driver's licenses, and be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and chapel services.
