Milton Hershey School is looking for married couples to fill flex house parent roles, providing care and support to students in need.
About the Role
As a flex house parent, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment and guiding students in their academic and personal development. You will work closely with other staff members to ensure the well-being of our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating a family-like atmosphere for students
- Managing daily responsibilities, including driving and administration
- Providing guidance and support to students
- Working closely with other staff members to ensure student well-being
Requirements
- Experience working with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Couples must have been married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may live in the student home
- Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity
