Family-Style Caregiving for Disadvantaged Students

Milton Hershey School is looking for married couples to fill flex house parent roles, providing care and support to students in need.

About the Role

As a flex house parent, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment and guiding students in their academic and personal development. You will work closely with other staff members to ensure the well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities

• Creating a family-like atmosphere for students
• Managing daily responsibilities, including driving and administration
• Providing guidance and support to students
• Working closely with other staff members to ensure student well-being

Requirements

• Experience working with youth, preferably from under-served settings
• Couples must have been married for at least two years
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older
• No more than three dependent children may live in the student home
• Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
• Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity
