Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to become houseparents. These couples will reside in on-campus student homes and provide a family-like environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
As a houseparent couple, you will be responsible for guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students. This includes managing household responsibilities such as driving, budgeting, and assisting with meals and medication.
The role involves fostering a supportive community, supported by comprehensive benefits and a structured schedule. You will also have the opportunity to engage in various activities with the students, including daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
We offer a competitive salary of $43,825 per person (a total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple), comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training. Our flexible employment schedule includes nine days on followed by three days off, with a period of personal time while students are at school.
