As a Houseparent, you will reside on-campus and provide a family-like structure for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Our school provides an exceptional education with housing, meals, and more, all at no cost to the students.
Job Description:
You and your spouse will work together as a team to guide and nurture approximately 8-12 students. Your responsibilities will include driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting. We require both spouses to be comfortable leading daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. You will also be responsible for creating a safe and welcoming environment for our students.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful as a Houseparent, you and your spouse must have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and you must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. You will also need to demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for our students.
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of $43,825 per person (total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple), comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training. You will also enjoy a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, with personal time while students are at school. Additionally, you will receive three weeks of paid summer vacation.
