About the Role
This unique role requires a married couple who can provide a nurturing environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. As a Flex Houseparent, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting a group of students, aged 5-18, in their daily lives. You will need to provide transportation, administer medication, and handle household chores, as well as lead students in daily devotions and attend Sunday chapel services.
Requirements
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Both spouses must be at least 27 years old and have been legally married for at least two years
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity and be comfortable leading students in daily devotions
