Milton Hershey School is seeking dedicated couples to become part of our team as House Parents. In this rewarding role, you will provide a nurturing family-like environment for disadvantaged students while living on campus. Your guidance and support will help shape the lives of these young individuals, empowering them to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care and supervision to a group of 8-12 students
- Manage responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, and budgeting
- Lead students in daily devotions and take them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (Note: Proselytizing is prohibited)
Requirements
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid driver's license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
