Milton Hershey School seeks married couples to fill the unique role of Houseparents. These individuals will provide a nurturing environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, managing a living space and offering guidance and support while overseeing daily responsibilities.

As a Houseparent, you will be responsible for providing a consistent family-like structure for students, handling tasks such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting.
Requirements for this role include experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings. Couples must have been legally married for at least two years, and both spouses should be age 27 or older. Additionally, they should be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high degree of integrity, as all staff members are role models for students. A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required. With a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, workdays include a period of personal time while students are at school.
