Family Support Staff Opportunity:
Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to become Flex Houseparents, providing guidance and support to students in a residential setting. As a Flex Houseparent, you will create a positive atmosphere and promote the overall well-being of approximately 8-12 students.
About the Role:
• Provide a consistent family-like environment for students
• Manage daily activities, including driving, administering medication, and budgeting
• Handle reporting duties and other responsibilities as assigned
Benefits Package:
• Salary: $43,825 per person (total compensation package of approx. $150,000 per couple)
• Comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance
• Relocation assistance and paid training provided
• Schedule of nine days on followed by three days off
• Three-week paid summer vacation
Qualifications:
• Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
• Legally married couple with at least two years of marriage
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older
• Ability to abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy
