Milton Hershey School is committed to empowering students from disadvantaged backgrounds to reach their full potential. As a House Parent, you will play a critical role in this mission by providing guidance, support, and daily care to a group of 8-12 students.
In this role, you will work closely with your spouse to create a family-like environment, addressing daily needs such as budgeting, transportation, and health management. You will also be responsible for handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, and reporting.
We are seeking a married couple who has experience working with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses should be at least 27 years old, have a high school diploma or GED, and be comfortable leading daily devotions and taking students to Sunday chapel services.
The benefits of this role include a competitive salary of $43,825 per person, comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and paid training. You will also enjoy a schedule of nine days on followed by three days off, with a three-week paid summer vacation.
