As Residential Youth Care Coordinators, you and your spouse will work together to create a supportive family-like environment for 8-12 students in a residential setting. This involves guiding them through daily activities, managing logistics such as transportation and healthcare, and fostering a sense of belonging and responsibility among the students.
The ideal candidate couple should have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. They should also be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. Both spouses should be age 27 or older, and no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also required. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff members are role models for students.
