Milton Hershey School is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a House Parent. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students and contribute to the delivery of our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
As a House Parent, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to groups of 8-12 students from under-served settings. This will involve driving, administering medication, budgeting, and fostering a family-like environment. You will work closely with your spouse and other staff members to ensure the well-being and success of our students.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you and your spouse must have a high school diploma or GED, be comfortable leading students in daily devotions, and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services. You must also be able to lift up to 50 lbs and demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
