Creating a Family-Like Environment
Milton Hershey School seeks married couples to become part of its dynamic team as houseparents. In this role, you will create a nurturing home environment that supports the growth and development of students. Your primary responsibility will be to guide and nurture a group of approximately 8-12 students, providing a consistent family-like structure and support.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with youth, preferably in under-served settings. They should be comfortable leading daily devotions and taking students to Sunday chapel services while adhering to the school's Judeo-Christian values. A valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans are also essential requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to students in a family-like environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the well-being and safety of students
- Participate in daily devotions and take students to Sunday chapel services
- Drive student home vans and perform other transportation duties
- Maintain a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
Benefits:
- Competitive salary: $43,825 per person (total compensation package approx. $150,000 per couple)

Requirements:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings
- Legally married couple with at least two years of marriage
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
