Serving Youth and Families
Milton Hershey School seeks to hire dedicated couples to become Flex Houseparents. As Flex Houseparents, you will reside in on-campus student homes, guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students. You will provide a consistent family-like structure for students, handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc., and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services.
This role requires a strong commitment to serving youth from disadvantaged backgrounds. You will be responsible for providing education support, personal development guidance, and ensuring student safety and well-being.
Key Qualifications:
- Legally married couple with at least 2 years of marriage
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- Age 27 or older
- No more than 3 dependent children may reside in the student home
