Nurturing the Potential of Students at Milton Hershey School
Milton Hershey School is a renowned private school that provides an exceptional career-focused education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. We are seeking married couples to become flex houseparents, providing a nurturing family-like structure for students and handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting.
As a flex houseparent, you and your spouse will reside in on-campus student homes and provide guidance and support to approximately 8-12 students. You will also have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with your students and contribute to their academic and personal growth.
The ideal candidate will have experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings. Both spouses must be age 27 or older and have been legally married for at least two years. You should also be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (Note: Proselytizing is prohibited).
