Office Support Assistant 2 - DA
Hourly Pay Rate: $14.87 to $22.28

Job Summary: This is a clerical position, the major objective of the Office Support Assistant is to enter data into (PROTECT) the District Attorney’s digital case management system, copy materials, and file legal documents with the Court in an accurate and timely fashion. The Office Support Assistant 2 in this position will also maintain records, provide backup coverage for receptionist, and perform projects as requested.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Type information into PROTECT in a timely and accurate manner.
Attach documents in PROTECT and notify required parties.
Track received documents, enter into PROTECT and manually record onto a log sheet
Represent the office in a positive manner when answering questions over the telephone or in person. Process incoming/outgoing mail
Prepare documents for delivery to VRC/Coakley according to protocol. Documents are received from attorneys or supervisor.
Use the copy machine to number and copy documents.
Perform all other duties/projects as requested.
Minimum Requirements:
Possession of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Current resident of the State of Wisconsin
Basic knowledge of all related computer and software applications, such as word processing and spreadsheets
At least 6 months of clerical support with good communication skills and the ability to relate, communicate and interact with people.
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of modern office methods, spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Using various office machines, customer service with contact skills over the telephone and in person. Basic data entry skills with a high rate of accuracy, written and oral communication skills, organizational skills and the ability to follow oral/written instructions. Maintain records, files, and store items according to file codes or classifications. Work effectively and harmoniously with others.
