Position : Legal Coordinator / Admin - Logistics Department
Location : Plano, TX 75075 Onsite
Level : Staff (Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience)
Contract : 6 months (Initial)
Job Function / Description :
- Point of Contact : Serve as the initial point of contact for internal and external legal inquiries, ensuring efficient and accurate direction of communications to appropriate legal team members.
- Guidance and Support : Provide guidance and support to colleagues regarding contract-related matters and their current status.
- Legal Intake Coordination : Coordinate and manage legal intake processes, including logging requests, tracking progress, and ensuring timely responses through multiple channels of communication, including Cello.
- Administrative Support : Provide administrative support for day-to-day activities, including requests for budget approval and processing invoices.
- Document Preparation and Review : Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents, contracts, and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal standards and corporate policies.
- Contract Management : Route contracts for signature, collect, and save executed contracts in designated shared folders.
- Database Maintenance : Maintain and update legal and compliance databases and files, ensuring they are current and accessible.
- Meeting Coordination : Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
- Communication Facilitation : Facilitate effective communication between the Legal & Compliance team and other departments within the organization.
- Legal Research and Reporting : Assist with legal research and compile reports.
- Legal Support : Assist in other legal matters such as litigation, claims, and other disputes.
- Additional Duties : Perform other duties as assigned or required.
