What you'll do
Protect My Ministry is a leading innovator in the background screening industry, serving thousands of organizations. As a part of our criminal research team you will assist in the quality assurance and re-verification of national criminal database searches. Additional responsibilities will be to process county and statewide criminal search requests as well as document and report accurate criminal case information into a standard format that is returned to the end user.
- Ensure accurate and prompt turnaround on all search results
- Provide and maintain in-depth working knowledge of all searches and client guidelines
- Input thorough and accurate notes when determining the adjudication result on an applicant
- Meet personal and team qualitative and quantitative production targets
- Follow company procedures, guidelines and policies with full understanding
- Tracking, routing and redirecting information to the correct resources
- Criminal research, understanding dispositions verbiage and reporting guidelines
- Understanding employment background screening compliance
Who you are
- Minimum of an Associate’s Degree (Criminal Justice preferred) or Minimum 2 years Background Investigation Industry
- Has strong computer skills
- Strong Internet knowledge
- Has experience understanding criminal court records
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks as well as be able to work as part of a team
- Has problem solving abilities and organizational skills
- Possess strong work ethic, professional attitude, and is dependable
- Has congenial phone skills
- Position requires an understanding of court adjudications, crime elements, and the criminal justice system, as a whole. Also required are some level of computer skills consisting of but not limited to: internet research, Microsoft Office, typing, etc.
