Job Summary
This position exists to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of people served by programs licensed by the Mental Health, Substance Use Disorder and Children's Residential Services Unit by :
The Licensor II will be assigned to one of the following subunits :
1) Mental Health and Children Residential Facilities Subunit :
o MN Rule 36 : Residential Programs for Adults who are Mentally Ill
o MN Statute 245I : Uniform Service Standards
o MN Statute 245A.25 Family First Prevention Services Act certification that is attached to a CRF Department of Corrections or CRF DHS license.
2) Substance Use Disorder Subunit :
o MN Statute 245I : 245I.20 Mental Health Clinics
o MN Rule 32 : Detoxification Programs
o MN Statute 245F : Withdrawal management Programs
o MN Statute 245G : Substance Use Disorder Programs
o MN Statute 254B Rate enhancements that require basic knowledge of billing practices.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Three (3) years professional experience in a regulatory or compliance position or involved in the development and implementation of mental health or substance use disorder treatment planning in a Department of Human Services (DHS) licensed or certified organization that provides services to people with substance use disorder and / or mental health or youth in children residential facilities.
Experience must demonstrate the following :
A Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Services, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology or a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional experience.
