Job Summary

This position provides administrative support to the Admissions / Recruitment teams and participates in the tasks and communications that result in moving students through the application process. Provides prompt and efficient support and processing of undergraduate and post-secondary applications for admission in a collaborative effort so the College meets or exceeds established enrollment goals.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Data entry and database management skills sufficient to enter and retrieve data accurately and efficiently.
  • Standard computer software skills sufficient to create, format, edit, print, and save a variety of documents in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Spreadsheet skills sufficient to create, manipulate, and analyze information in a computerized spreadsheet.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with internal and external partners both verbally and in written correspondence.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Ability to operate computers and software sufficient to access student computer information system and college communication systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of CLC's admissions processes, programs, policies, services, and procedures in order to answer and refer questions expertly.
  • Ability to accomplish desired results in the most effective, pleasant, and efficient manner possible while adhering to proper policies and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of private information in compliance with laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and timelines.
  • Good organizational skills needed to sort information, and place forms and student documents in the correct order and put them in correct placement.
