The City of Minnetonka is accepting applications for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Summer 2025 Intern
The primary objective of this position is to contribute to the development and implementation of initiatives that foster a culture of inclusivity within our organization. The DEI Intern will work closely with our Senior DEI Coordinator and Internal Equity Committee to provide support on several projects both internal and external within the city.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably with a focus on Human Resources, Sociology, Diversity Studies, OR at least two years of community organizing/engagement experience in lieu of degree.
Desired Qualifications:
- Effective written and verbal communications skills
- Experience with community outreach and event planning
- Microsoft Office Intermediate skills
- Experience with gathering and analyzing data
