The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE), Public Engagement Division is looking for two (2) Education Consultant 2 - Capital Projects Fund Grant Program Specialist(s) to join their team. These positions will direct the operations of supporting information and reporting system(s); provide guidance and technical expertise on funding administration and compliance of grant(s) for school districts, education cooperatives, charter schools, community resource centers and all other grantees of the Minnesota Multi-Purpose Community Facility Projects Grant; and, direct projects to monitor compliance of the grant program with state and federal grant administration rule and regulations. This is inclusive of collecting quarterly financial reports from grantees, checking against allowable costs, and submitting quarterly financial reports to the U.S. Department of Treasury (Treasury).
Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in project management, including strong analytical and organizational skills, budget monitoring, and compliance oversight.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction project management, proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Project, and strong understanding of grant regulations, federal guidelines, and compliance requirements.
