Civil Design Engineer

This position exists to provide professional engineering leadership and direction to the design and development of construction plans for District 8. The purpose of this position is also to serve as and recommend solutions and to serve as a Project / Consultant Manager and lead the development of transportation projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications - Engineer Senior

  • Licensure as a professional Civil Engineer with the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience, and Interior Design (AELSLAGID).

Minimum Qualifications - Engineer 2 Graduate

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university or its equivalency as rated by NCEES / EAC.
  • A passing score on the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
  • Two years post-graduation civil engineering work.
  • A Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university or it’s equivalency as rated by NCEES / EAC AND
  • A passing score on the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
  • One (1) year of post-graduate civil engineering work.

    • Received a passing score on the Minnesota Principals & Practices of Civil Engineering (PE) Exam.
