IHS with Training

We are seeking an IHS (In-Home Support) with Training to join our team. This position involves providing direct support and care to people we serve in their home so that they can live a happy life and continue to grow in the communities in which they live in.

Duties:

• Provide direct patient care following individual care plans
• Assist patients with activities of daily living
• Implement behavior management techniques as needed
• Support persons served on a daily basis as needed
• Drive patients to appointments or outings
• Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times

Skills:

• Ability to communicate proficiently with case managers and staff about individual served
• Knowledge of patient care practices and procedures
• Ability to assist patients with mobility
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
• Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and their families
• Proficiency in behavior management techniques
• Compassion and empathy for providing quality care

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
