Minuteman Press, a well-established printing and marketing services company, is seeking a full-time Customer Service/Estimator with Design Experience. This role will involve providing exceptional customer service, generating quotes, and assisting with design.
Responsibilities:
1. Handle emails and phone calls, and direct them to the appropriate team member when needed.
2. Generate quotes for clients who request them via phone, email, online, or in-store.
3. Follow up with clients regarding quotes and past orders, and suggest additional items we offer.
4. Assist our lead design and production team with typesetting and design for print using Adobe Creative Cloud.
5. Maintain a professional appearance and communication style in all interactions.
6. Understand the full scope of our services and products and advise customers on the best solutions for their needs.
7. Perform data entry and process order paperwork using Minuteman Press software(Flex)
8. May be asked to assist with general finishing duties.
9. Communicate with customers and clients via electronic means and understand common file types needed for our services.
10. Assist other departments with vendor relations regarding Central Facility order processing.
11. File documents according to the Minuteman Press filing system.
12. Learn about paper types and assist the Digital Print Production staff in keeping production running.
13. Review client project specifications, analyze production processes and material costs to determine accurate estimates.
14. Utilize estimating software or tools to calculate project costs.
15. Prepare detailed and competitive quotes for clients and address any client inquiries related to estimates.
16. Coordinate with suppliers to obtain accurate pricing for outsourced services.
17. Stay informed about industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new technologies.
18. Assist clients with placing orders and coordinate with production teams to ensure timely delivery.
19. Address client concerns promptly and professionally.
20. Identify opportunities to up-sell additional services or products.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred).
2. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Graphic Design and Adobe Illustrator/InDesign. (Required).
3. Must be skilled with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
4. Experience in a customer service role is preferred.
5. Ability to analyze complex project requirements and provide precise estimates.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Ability to handle multiple estimates simultaneously and meet deadlines.
8. Passionate about delivering exceptional service.
9. Ability to handle client inquiries and resolve issues.
10. Collaborative attitude, able to work well with colleagues to meet client needs.
