Part-Time HR, Payroll & Benefits Clerk
Location: Mason, Ohio
Pay: $25 - $30 per hour
Hours: 20-30 hours per week
A growing bio health lab company focused on precision healthcare for patients is currently looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Part-Time HR, Payroll & Benefits Clerk. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience while supporting a growing company.
Position Overview:
As an HR, Payroll & Benefits Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting with payroll processing, benefits administration, and general HR tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll, HR, and benefits, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees on a bi-weekly basis.
- Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits programs.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws, as well as company policies.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, record-keeping and other HR-related duties.
- Report to the CFO and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth HR operations.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field, or at least 5 years of experience in HR, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Strong understanding of payroll systems and benefits programs.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and payroll software.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
