The purpose of the policy is to promote efficiency and continuity throughout all campus administrative functions, provide students with high quality assistance and accessibility to all academic and campus services, ensure that students receive an engaging education, and respond to emerging student needs.
The District may consider an individual request to temporarily reside outside of the State of California or outside the 200-mile limit on a case-by-case basis, not to exceed twelve consecutive months.

Salary Range: Based on the 2024-25 Vice President & Associate Vice President Salary Schedule
Compensation:

Basic Function:
The Assistant Superintendent/Vice President, Administrative Services (ASVPAS) is responsible for developing and executing administrative services strategy in support of the overall plan and strategic direction of the district, specifically in the areas of financial services, accounting, information technology services, college police, investments, , budgeting, cashiering, contracting, purchasing, material management, district enterprise services including food service and bookstore operations, capital construction and facilities/infrastructure planning and maintenance. The ASVPAS functions as a strategic administrative services advisor, and articulates administrative services needs to the executive management team and the Board of Trustees regarding key organizational and management issues, programs, policies and procedures, and provides guidance on managing complex matters. The ASVPAS may serve as the Superintendent/Presidents designee of the district in the absence of the Superintendent/President.
