Schedule: Saturday - Sunday 8AM-4:30PM

RECEPTIONIST JOB SUMMARY:
The Receptionist at Mission Ridge Ski & Board Resort plays a crucial role in creating the first and lasting impression on our guests. You will be the front-line representative of our resort, providing exceptional customer service and assistance to our valued guests. Your warm and friendly demeanor, coupled with your organizational skills, will ensure a smooth and positive experience for all who visit our ski area. The Receptionist informs visitors by answering or referring inquiries to the appropriate department. This position also notifies company personnel of visitor arrival. Prior experience in answering a multi-line phone system, responding to customer email inquiries, the ability to adapt well to a busy working environment, as well as the ability to work over-time, weekends, and holidays are requirements of the Receptionist position. In addition to guest-facing responsibilities, you will also provide vital support for internal operations by assisting with administrative tasks and facilitating employee communications. Your role will be integral in maintaining efficient resort operations and ensuring clear communication among our staff.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS:
Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays including holidays.
Answer multi-line phone system. Transfer or screen all incoming calls. Take messages for all departmental calls when necessary and forward them to the recipient in a timely manner.
Respond to guest emails promptly and professionally, addressing inquiries, requests, and concerns.
Maintain and manage the resort's email system, ensuring that all communications are organized and appropriately directed.
Greet guests in a friendly and positive manner at all times. Answer all questions pertaining to general information regarding Mission Ridge or transfer them to the appropriate Department.
Keep an inventory of all office supplies. Order of office supplies for all departments when requested.
Create and maintain a list of current Lost and Found items. Direct appropriate items to their rightful owners.
Receive Damaged Items claims and refer the person to the Administration Department.
Ability to generate correspondence and form documents. Manage digital filing systems.
Data entry for Accounting, Marketing, Skier Services, Mountain Operations, Base Operations, and Administration Departments.
Ability to run mail through a postage meter include multiple mailings for Department Managers and/or Administration.
Maintain, operate, and conduct training on the voice mail system.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the administration area.
Assist the Marketing, Accounting, Skier Services, Mountain Operations, Base Operations, and Administration Departments with various projects as needed.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent mandatory. Two-year minimum on-the-job experience as receptionist, or equivalent training. Extensive working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Access & Outlook.
