Job Description

Our client is seeking a CERTIFIED RESPIRATORY THERAPIST (CRT) ORREGISTERED RESPIRATORY THERAPIST (RRT) to join their team on afull-time night shift. This role involves delivering high-qualityrespiratory care to patients, evaluating respiratory policies andprocedures, and providing critical support during emergencies. Theideal candidate will have strong critical-thinking skills, the abilityto thrive in a high-stress environment, and a professional demeanorwhen communicating with diverse individuals.RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Measure lung capacity and analyze blood samples using blood gasanalyzers.
• Deliver and assess responses to therapy as ordered in thepatient’s care plan.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate.
• Respond to codes and provide emergent respiratory care treatments.
• Educate patients and families on illnesses, treatments, andcommunity resources.
• Manage respiratory care supplies and medical gas cylinders,ensuring proper stock levels.
• Clean, sterilize, and maintain respiratory equipment, performingroutine maintenance and calibration.
• Evaluate and update respiratory care policies and procedures basedon patient outcomes and current best practices.MUST HAVES :
• Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care License – REQUIRED
• Graduate of an accredited CRT or RRT program – REQUIRED
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire –REQUIREDNICE HAVES :
• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care – PREFERRED
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field – PREFERRED
• Ability to manage stressful situations effectively.
• Strong communication skills with a professional and constructiveapproach.
• Demonstrated critical-thinking abilities in a clinical setting.LOCATION :  Georgetown, Kentucky (KY)SALARY :  $50,336 - $75,504
