Summary: This position is for an automotive estimator who reports the current condition of a vehicle for Missouri Auto Auction. Daily responsibilities include driving automobiles and accessing their condition for the weekly auction. This employee will create documentation of any mechanical issues, prior paint repairs, current damage, both written and photographed, for a full assessment of each vehicle.
Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Diagnose mechanical issues of motor vehicles.
Identify prior paint repairs of motor vehicles.
Learn auto structure policies.
Access previous and current damage to frame and vehicle structure.
Document and photograph damaged vehicles and record in computer program.
Document mechanical problems found in vehicles in computer program.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
