What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Temp - Electronics Assembler I position at Mitchell Lewis & Staver and Mitchell Wine Group?
This position is expected to be from April/May 2025 through August 2025.
Position Objective:
This position is responsible for the effective assembly of industrial electronic panels industrial electronic control panels by understanding and utilizing electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, component layout, drilling and tapping, and metal fabrication to produce high-quality products for our customers. The position will report to the production supervisor.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Not required for this role
Essential Functions:
· Read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams and assemble from those documents
· Perform in-process quality checks and provide feedback to previous work centers
· Perform work within MLS safety program parameters
· Utilize hand and pneumatic tools to complete builds and disassembly of repair work
· Operate and maintain press when required to complete a build
· Performs other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification
Experience Required:
• Experience in basic mechanical work and machinery
• Experience in the application of basic math
• Experience using computers
• Some bookkeeping skills
• Ability to operate a forklift

Education Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1 to 2 years of previous experience in a related field
Physical Requirements:
· Work for extended periods of time in a stationary position daily while performing repetitive assembly-related movements that may include consistently grasping, moving, and manipulating parts, tools, equipment, and product in conjunction with completing required job tasks
· Must be able to stand on a concrete floor for extended periods of time
· Move to, from, and within the designated work area frequently and consistently throughout the workday
· Lift, transport and/or move items, frequently 20 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs. each day. Frequent bending, crouching, reaching, stooping, kneeling, twisting, and may also be required.
· Must be able to bend 350 MCM wire
· Must be able to work overtime
Work Environment:
· This position’s job duties are generally performed in a shop or warehouse-type environment
· This position may be exposed to loud noises from operating machinery, cold temperatures, chemicals and vapors, work involving manufactured parts, assembly, and heavy machinery
· This position is not eligible for telework
