Job Title: BIN HANDLER
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, clean, and safely store returnable containers in designated areas.
Sort containers by customer and container type to ensure accuracy.
Verify supplier codes and ensure proper labeling.
Remove external Kanbans and supplier labels efficiently.
Ensure all curtains are secure and in top condition.
Conduct thorough inspections of containers for debris and damage.
If containers are damaged, document and report to the Lead Hand or Supervisor for further action.
Replace broken Kanban holders when time allows.
Report any live freight to the Lead Hand immediately.
Perform regular packaging counts and report any discrepancies, including shortages or overages.
Maintain a clean and organized breakdown area while adhering to 5S standards.
What You Bring to the Table:
1 year of experience in a related role (Shipper, Receiver, Material Handler, etc.).
Completion of lift truck safety training is required.
Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
Key Skills:
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to ensure smooth operations and teamwork.
Understanding of Quality and Environmental Management Systems relevant to the role.
Knowledge and adherence to lift truck safety protocols.
Familiarity with forms, labels, and tags specific to the job.
