Draftsman responsibilities:
· Consulting with internal and external design teams and engineers to gather product requirements and designs.
· Calculating dimensions and material specifications, and creating detailed designs using computer-aided design (CAD) and (Zuken) software.
· Ensuring the accuracy and compliance of technical plans with regulations and quality standards.
· Proficiency in CAD software, with preferred basic knowledge of Zuken software.
· Familiarity with 3D modeling tools.
· Good math skills.
· Meet continually changing deadlines in a timely manner.
· Meticulous.
· Strong understanding of building processes.
· Possesses excellent technical drafting skills.
· Calculate dimensions, limitations, and requirements in materials.
· Describe production methods step-by-step.
· Create detailed designs with computer-aided design software.
· Prepare and review rough sketches and review them along with the team.
· Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards set forth by Mize and Company, Inc. and our customers.
· Leadership abilities

Work Hours and Benefits: Mize and Company, Inc. is in Kingman Kansas. The office hours are 6:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday with some additional work hours as needed for new projects when needed.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: Proven work experience as a Drafter or similar role, hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) or Zuken software. Familiarity with 3D modeling tools, good math skills, ability to meet continually changing deadlines in a timely manner. Associate degree from a technical college, or a minimum of (3) years of draftsperson experience in lieu of degree.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
