Full Job Description
Punta Gorda law firm is seeking a legal assistant with experience in estate planning. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in drafting documents, scheduling appointments and performing various administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have outstanding attention to detail and excellent organization and communication skills, both written and verbal; and a demonstrable understanding of correct grammar, spelling and punctuation and problem-solving skills. The candidate will have direct client contact and manage the attorney’s calendar. Must be able to work independently, under the supervision of an attorney. Must have professional appearance as well as prior experience with computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. Knowledge of TABS and Form-Builder computer programs is a plus. Must have available transportation to deliver and collect documents at the Courthouse and/or locally. Salary commensurate with experience.
