What You’ll Be Doing:
Building relationships: Develop and expand customer accounts through cold calling, lead generation, and networking.
Negotiating deals: Work with customers to establish competitive pricing while maximizing profitability.
Account management: Maintain strong relationships with current clients and proactively seek new opportunities.
Estimating & sales strategy: Accurately assess material needs, recommend products, and close deals.
Collections: Follow up on past due accounts up to 60 days.
Industry expertise: Stay up to date on market trends, pricing, and new product offerings.
What You Need to Succeed:
3-4 years of sales experience in building materials industry
Strong customer service & negotiation skills
Ability to analyze pricing, interpret technical info, and estimate materials
Proficiency with computers and sales software
High school diploma or GED required
