In support of Program Manager Advanced Amphibious Assault , we are seeking a Curriculum Developer with experience in supporting the New Equipment Training (NET) efforts for the Amphibious Assault Vehicle (AAV) and Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV).
Responsibilities:
Provide management, coordination, operational and technical support to programs within the customer’s portfolio. The candidate shall manage and coordinate daily staff operations, support the customer lead on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and provide guidance to senior leadership on agency programs. Additionally, the candidate shall perform all tasks associated with acquisition program management in order to lead the overall program acquisition strategy, including, but not limited to, the following:
- Developing and implementing technical and programmatic plans, measures, and progress reports
- Monitoring program schedules to ensure proper resources have been allocated and risks are recognized and mitigated
- Gaining concurrence, approval, and consensus from stakeholders on various issues
- Developing, providing, and presenting program information
- Responding to external requests for information
- Preparing and reviewing all policy, acquisition and technical documentation
- Communicating issues regarding product development, storage, and sustainment
- Overseeing fielding
- Performing other related duties as assigned
The specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Experience developing, managing, and updating specific Marine Occupational Specialty (MOS) training.
- Conduct and interpret results from Gap, Job, Task, Learning, Method/Media analyses, Engineering Change Proposals, and Technical Manual Updates; maintain and update a Master Course of Instruction for each ACV Program of Instruction (POI); and observe all quality control practices provided by PM AAA.
- Evaluate and track instructor proficiency and issue certifications to instructors so that they can teach assigned programs of instruction.
- Create and manage the PM AAA, NETT Comment Resolution Metrices (CRM) for the review of draft Technical Manuals (TMs) and shall reconcile CRM responses and provide additional comments, if required.
- Perform in-depth analysis of the ACV Operator/Operator Maintenance Technical Manuals and implement TM changes into courses of instruction.
- Assist the Government Training Manager in reviewing PM AAA operation training requirements.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Principal End Item (PEI) Baseline Comparison Reports, Training Front End Analysis Reports, Training Systems Plans, and the training of Marines for PM AAA Programs.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
- Must have at a minimum, four years’ experience training service members in a military period of instruction/program.
- Experience and understanding of Instructional Systems Design (ISD), Marine Corps Order 1333.1 Systems Approach to training, and ADDIE Model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate).
Specific/Preferred Requirements:
- Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance.
