We are looking for an experienced Senior Workday Financials Business Analyst with a strong focus on taxation and asset management. This role will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance, asset lifecycle management, and financial reporting within Workday. The ideal candidate will enhance tax reporting, fixed asset tracking, and Workday Financials configurations to support our business growth.

Position Summary:
- Oversee tax configuration, compliance, and reporting within Workday Financials.
- Ensure compliance with sales tax, VAT/GST, corporate tax, and other regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement tax reporting tools and automated workflows to improve accuracy.
- Support tax audits by providing necessary documentation, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Manage the full lifecycle of fixed assets, including acquisitions, depreciation, revaluations, and disposals.
- Configure and optimize Workday’s Asset Management module for efficient tracking and reporting.
- Ensure proper capitalization and depreciation calculations in alignment with accounting standards.
- Conduct periodic asset audits and reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
- Develop and maintain financial reports for taxation and asset management, including tax liabilities, asset values, and depreciation schedules.
- Support financial planning and forecasting by providing insights on asset investments and tax implications.
- Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to improve Workday reporting capabilities.
- Configure and enhance Workday’s taxation and asset management functionalities.
- Automate tax calculations and depreciation schedules to improve efficiency.
- Stay up to date with Workday Financials updates and new tax regulations to ensure compliance.
- Provide training and support to finance teams on Workday’s tax and asset management modules.
- Lead system upgrades, enhancements, and process automation initiatives to improve financial efficiency.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Workday Financials, with a focus on Taxation and Asset Management.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and tax compliance regulations.
- Experience in Workday Financials implementations and system optimizations.
- Workday certification in Financials, Taxation, or Asset Management.
- Preferable experience in Workday Adaptive Planning or other reporting tools
- Hands on technical experience configuring, troubleshooting, enhancing and customizing Workday modules
- Strong stakeholder management skills
Compensation:
Total Compensation BOE: $125,000 – $160,000 Salary plus bonus
