What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure all job postings are accurate and up to date.
• Utilize various sourcing techniques to identify potential candidates.
• Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
• Build relationships with local schools, universities, and community organizations to attract candidates.
• Review and screen incoming resumes and applications to determine candidate qualifications and fit for the position.
• Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate interest and availability.
• Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring that all parties are informed of the interview details.
• Prepare interview materials and candidate profiles for interviewers.
• Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback.
• Handle candidate inquiries and assist with any questions related to the recruitment process.
• Ensure a smooth transition for new employees from recruitment to onboarding.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Generate reports on recruitment metrics and contribute to the analysis of recruitment strategies.
• Work closely with HR team members and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Assist in the development of recruitment marketing materials and employer branding initiatives.
• Stay updated on recruitment best practices and industry trends to contribute to process improvements.
• Maintain compliance with employment laws and ensure adherence to EEO regulations throughout the hiring process.
• Participate in recruitment projects and initiatives as needed.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Associate degree is required, bachelor's degree preferred
• 2-5 years of experience in recruitment is required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
• Ability to develop effective sourcing strategies for various positions.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficient in database management and record-keeping.
• Basic understanding of employment laws and best practices related to hiring and recruitment.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking software is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
• The position involves prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
