The Manufacturing Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting products according to company specifications and quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow work instructions to ensure efficient and accurate production.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical, electrical, or electronic components using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to ensure correct assembly.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections to verify parts meet specifications.
- Operate production machinery and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report defects, malfunctions, or production errors to supervisors.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in electrical systems, generator repair, or related field.
- Proven experience in maintaining and repairing surveillance trailers or similar systems.
- Strong understanding of generator functionality, electrical principles, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, tools, and software specific to surveillance trailer systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical capability to perform hands-on repairs and lift heavy equipment, when necessary, up to 50 pounds.
- Experience with a variety of surveillance trailer brands and models.
- Certifications related to electrical systems, generator repair, or surveillance technologies.
- Knowledge of advanced security systems and renewable energy technologies used in surveillance trailers.
