POSITION OBJECTIVE
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of construction projects by coordinating administrative tasks, communications and documentation. The Construction Project Administrator will work closely with the project accountants, project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely processing of payment requests.
Responsibilities
Cost Management :
- Review and validate subcontractor pay applications for accuracy and completeness.
- Input pay application data into project management software or relevant tracking systems.
- Verify the compliance of pay applications with contract terms, milestones, and work completed.
- Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to address any discrepancies or issues in pay applications.

Education. BA or BS degree
Professional Experience. Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in construction accounting. Specifically experience in job cost, construction management, general contracting, or subcontracting. Knowledge of key aspects of finance and accounting, including an understanding of general accounting principles

Computer and Technical Skills. Should be able to embrace and adapt to technology required to fulfill responsibilities of this position, to include Microsoft Office, Yardi Software Systems, and other required software, or equal.
Industry Knowledge. Familiarity with GAAP and Construction Industry
