In this role, you’ll oversee a combined 24-bed unit, including a 12-bed CVICU , 12-bed PCU , and the hospital’s Central Monitor Unit (Telemetry) . You’ll ensure high-quality, patient-centered care while managing daily operations, staffing, and resources. Qualifications
Active RN License (Florida license required; compact licensure accepted – must apply for FL license).
Associate Degree or RN Diploma Required | BSN Preferred.
1–2 Years of Recent Acute Care ICU Leadership Experience Required (Manager, Supervisor, or Charge Nurse/ANM experience considered).
3–5 Years of Staff-Level ICU Experience Preferred (CVICU experience no longer required but highly valued).
NIH Stroke Scale Certification Required (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) Certification Required (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification Required (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification Required (must be obtained within 5 years of hire).
