We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee our construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a thorough understanding of construction management practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for project tracking and documentation.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using ProCore or similar project scheduling tools.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Oversee the preparation of construction estimates and budgets, ensuring accurate cost projections.
- Manage procurement processes for materials and equipment required for the project.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices in construction management.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding project status, changes, and challenges.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial construction management with a strong understanding of the commercial construction process.
- Proficiency in construction management software.
- Experience in construction estimating and project scheduling is highly desirable.
- Medical or Dental Construction experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with pipeline construction processes is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
