What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Clinician position at Modoc County Office Of Education?
Under the direction of the Director of Mental Health Support Services, the school-based mental health
clinician will provide a nurturing and supportive environment for students, aiming to enhance their
mental health, facilitate personal growth, and contribute to academic success. Depending on
classification, employees are expected to possess and maintain full training, credentials, licensure, or
work under supervision. These professionals, embedded within educational settings, carry caseloads and
utilize a biopsychosocial perspective to conduct assessments, deliver case management, and provide
mental health services to students and their support systems. Some responsibilities include crisis
intervention, collaboration with school staff and other community partners, parental involvement,
preventive measures, and educational initiatives, ensuring a holistic approach to addressing a broad
spectrum of psychological and emotional challenges within the school community.

Pay: $74,900.00 - $109,140.00 per year
